Westend Hatchery and Poultry Youth Development Association

West-End members innovated an incubator with an egg carrying capacity of 450 eggs which was tested and worked successfully. With such a great innovation to the community, this project aims at bringing production and improving the livelihoods of many Ugandans especially the Youth and fellow poultry farmers in different communities by availing them with high levels of awareness and equipping them with sufficient innovative skills and knowledge that maximize their opportunities including but not limited to poultry farming.
West-End Hatchery and Poultry Youth Development Association is registered specializes in egg production, hatching chicks, rearing and selling of chicken and manure to crop farmers. The proposed target markets are; Rukungiri Central market, Nyamayenje seasonal market, local poultry farmers, families/households, restaurants, hotels and event planners. We also aim at improving on the existing quality of poultry products while ensuring affordability and availability as well as creating an excellent customer relationship.
The site of West-End poultry farm is located in Nyakiju Buyanja Sub-County approximately 7kms from Buyanja Stage, Rukungiri District, South Western Uganda.
